I am so glad both books of the duet were available on audio because they made the story so gripping with their narration I needed to know how things ended! The male narrator did a good job with the rollercoaster of reactions from Cole. I really enjoyed the female narrator, I don't think I have listened to her before but I 100% will in the future. Narration was done well by both narrators. I would give this gripping tale a 4-4.5 stars, really good, really different than anything I have ever read or listened to before. I think its just the nature of this story, nothing against the author at all.
#NO SAINTS SOPHIE LARK SERIAL#
I think for me because I didnt connect with Cole as much (I really think its because of who he is, I mean its tough to fall for a serial killer when you think about it haha). I love the artsy characters and being able to see this side was really cool and the author did a great job bringing the art to life in my head. The way the author got us in the heads of these artists, seeing them work was brilliant. I don't want to give stuff away but its a nice mind game! I really really loved the art in this book. I knew shaw was gonna hit close to home for our leading lady, and appreciated the author with all the symbolism and connection with art pieces. I hope he tells her because I want to see her reaction to how he actually made that sculpture haha. I liked that art was weaved so much in this story, esp with that murder in the beginning. I liked that we didnt get to see a ton of deaths from one of them, it would have made it tough for me to continue on I think (smart move by one of my favorite authors).

I was intrigued by the relationship between the 2 serial killers, the rivalry and everything. While I was listening my brain kept going to like criminal minds, I used to watch that religiously hahaha. She was so observant and could put things together because of her life up til then and the masks that Cole shedded when he was with her, the longer he was with her. She did have her "what are you doing" moments where I was shaking my head but she was so intuitive/could figure our Cole when no one else could. I really enjoyed this main character, she was so strong but also not at the same time. I was shocked how it started off with a such a bang! I was entranced from the onset. I had been eyeing up this duet for awhile but had no clue what it was about haha. This is a steamy serial killer romance that will take you on a journey through the twisted mind of an artist on the brink of madness. Listeners be warned: this audiobook contains extremely dark themes that might be triggering to some. There Are No Saints is the first audiobook in the Sinners Duet.
